BusinessOwners.lk grew out of one of Sri Lanka's most active business owner communities. What began as owners helping owners is now a trilingual business community open to every genuine business in the country.
From a community group to a national network
It began in a busy WhatsApp and Facebook group where Sri Lankan business owners traded advice, referrals and encouragement every single day. The group grew quickly, and the trust inside it grew with it. Owners were finding suppliers, partners and customers simply by being part of a genuine community.
We built BusinessOwners.lk to give that community a proper home: a place where any honest business, from a one-person home kitchen to an established company, can be listed, found and recognised. Our team checks every business that joins, so the network stays genuine, with no fakes or scams.
Today we are open to owners in all 25 districts, in English, Sinhala and Tamil. Our promise is simple: stay honest, stay useful, and help Sri Lankan business owners grow.
