How much does membership cost?
Rs. 3,000 a year, which is about Rs. 250 a month. One simple membership, with everything on this page included.
What do I get for Rs. 3,000?
A dedicated business profile that customers can find, ongoing SEO work on the site, invitations to our seminars and networking events, the chance to be featured in our spotlights and nominated for the annual Business Awards, and a place in Sri Lanka's business owners community.
How do I pay?
Online, by Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card, or by FriMi, through OnePay, a secure Sri Lankan payment gateway. We never see or store your card details.
When does my profile go live?
As soon as your payment is confirmed, usually within a minute. We email you a confirmation with a link to your profile. Our team also checks every new profile and may contact you if anything needs changing.
Does membership renew automatically?
No. We never charge you automatically. We email you 30 days and 7 days before your membership ends, with a link to renew online.
Who can join?
Any genuine, lawful business operating in Sri Lanka, from a one-person home business to a large company. Fake, misleading or scam listings are removed.
Who sees my contact details?
Your personal phone number and email are never shown on your public profile. Customers contact you through the inquiry form on your profile. Signed-in members can see your contact details so they can reach you directly.
Do I need a website to join?
No. A phone number and email address are enough. You can add your website and social media pages if you have them.
How do I update my details later?
Sign in at businessowners.lk/members with your email. There is no password: we email you a secure sign-in link.
